About Torrid
Torrid was founded in 2001 with its first store at the Brea Mall in Brea, California. The aim was to provide plus sized women with the same range of fashion styles as smaller women, at the same affordable prices.
Plus sized models Gerogina Burke and Philomena Kwao were hired in 2014 to be the face of the brand.
Today the company brings in hundreds of millions in revenue each year, with thousands of employees throughout their supply chain.
Torrid Sells
Torrid's catalog features a comprehensive range of clothing types and styles for women sized 12 to 28. The main categories are: New items, Tops (shirts, hoodies, tanks, and more), Dresses, Bottoms, Jeans, Jackets, Intimates (underwear), Swimwear, Active (workout gears and sports clothing), Accessories, Shoes, a special Licensed Disney range, Trends, and Clearance items.
Accessories include Jewelry, Handbags, Watches, Hair products, Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Eyewear, Belts, Beauty products, Hosiery, Leggings, Shapewear, and more.
The special Disney range includes Frozen characters and classics, on tank tops, sweatshirts and a range of other items. There are even Disney watches.
Once you select a category all the items from that category will be displayed in a gallery with the price and customer rating. You can refine this page by choosing a price range, size and other parameters.
The Torrid.com website also runs a special rewards program called "Torrid Insider" that gives members access to new collections and previews before the general public. Each order will also rack up points which can be redeemed later for discounts.

Payment Methods
Torrid.com supports MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards, as well as their own Torrid Credit Card. Visa and Mastercard ATM/debit cards are also accepted, along with Paypal, cashier's check, money order, or with a Torrid gift card.

Shipping Options
Torrid caters to US customers and those overseas from the same website. Although all pricing is listed in dollars, international customers will still have all charges tallied up before the checkout process is complete.
In the US standard shipping is a flat rate of $6 for delivery between 2 to 7 days. Orders that are selected for pick up from a local Torrid outlet are free, and returns to local outlets are also free.
For home delivery you can also pay extra for 2 to 3 day, and overnight delivery, if you need your items quick.
From time to time they also offer Torrid coupons for free shipping.
Return Policy
You can return Torrid items unused and in original packaging within 60 days of receipt, by using the downloadable returns form, or at a local retail outlet. Earrings, cosmetics, panties, lingerie sets, tights or similar intimate items cannot be returned unless defective or sent in error.
