About Nine West
Kimmel began operations in 1970 wholesaling products to other retailers, and wouldn't begin marketing the Nine West brand itself until 1983, when the first store was opened in Stamford, Connecticut. By the 90s several other stores were open, including a location in Hong Kong, which was close to where some of the products were sourced.
In the beginning they focussed solely on shoes, but branched out in to handbags, clothing and most other areas of fashion by the end of the 90s.
Nine West began taking orders online towards the end of 1998, and today the site is one of their primary generators of sales.
In the 2000s high profile designers like Vivienne Westwood, Thakoon and Sophia Kokosalaki, came on board to provide exclusive collections.

Return Policy
Nine West offer what they call "easy online returns" which allow you to return items bought from the website within 30 days of the delivery date. So long as the items are in their original condition with all the original tags, you do not have to have a reason to return them. Simply put them back in the box and use the prepaid return label for shipping.
