About Volcom
The company has under 600 employees, with Jason Steris serving as CEO, and founder Richard Woolcott the Executive Chairman.
Volcom was founded by Richard "Wooly" Woolcott and Tucker "T-Dawg" Hall, in 1991. The initial focus was on fashion for the skateboard and other board sports scenes. They brought on pro skateboarder Chet Thomas as their first endorsement. By 1995 they had expanded in to all sorts of other lifestyle and entertainment areas, including their own record label Volcom Entertainment.
In 2005 Volcom went public on the NASDAQ and in 2011 Kering took over the company by buying the majority of shares at a value of $608 million.

Volcom.com specifically caters to US and Canadian customers however there are separate sites for other countries, such as Volcom.co.uk for UK customers and Volcom.de for German customers. The majority of European countries can use Volcom.eu.
Standard Ground shipping within the 48 contiguous US states is free and takes between 3 and 7 business days. For $14 you get Second Day (3 Business Days) and for $20 you get Next Day (Next Business Day). Ground shipping is not available for Alaska and Hawaii.
Ground shipping to Canada costs $25 and is the only option for Canadian customers.
From time to time you can also get free shipping by using select Volcom coupons.
Return Policy
Returns are accepted within 45 days of purchase, for a no questions asked full refund or exchange. Items however must be in their original unworn and unused condition to qualify, unless they were delivered defective. All you have to do is contact customer support and they will give you an authorization number and a prepaid FedEx shipping label to print. Returns are free so shipping costs won't come out of your refund.
However if you have used a Volcom coupon, you will only be refunded the actual amount charged to your card.
