About Kay Jewelers
Kay was founded in 1916 in Reading, Pennsylvania, by brothers Sol and Edmund Kaufmann. Originally they offered jewelry and other products, such as glasses, electric razors, kitchen wares, and other home items.
In 1990 Sterling Jewelers acquired Kay and then Signet acquired its parent company Zale, bringing Kay along with it.
Today Kay has stores in all 50 US states branded as either Kay Jewelers or Kay Outlet.

Kay's full product range can be found at the online store at Kay.com, easily separated in to categories. These include common pieces such as necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, and watches. There are also pages for bridal jewelry (wedding bands, engagement rings, gifts, and more), sale items, and personalized jewelry.

Kay also offer their own credit line.
You can pay for your Kay purchases using most common credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover); as well as their own branded gift cards for all or part of your order, or the Kay credit plan which can be applied for online.
You can send checks for mail order purchases.
Orders shipped for home delivery can be gift wrapped and will be insured. Orders over the value of $1,000 require the buyer signature upon delivery to prevent fraud.
Kay caters to all US addresses including APO and FPO, though delivery will obviously take longer for these locations.
UPS is the primary courier though USPS is also sometimes used. Options include Ground ($9.95), 2nd Business Day ($15.95), Next Day ($29.95), and USPS Priority Mail for APO, FPO and PO Box addresses ($19.95).
If you’re not happy with the items that you’ve purchased, Kay Jewelers will refund the full amount to your credit card as long as you return the items within 60 days of purchasing them. After this point you have until the 90th day to exchange the items or obtain store credit. The only exception is watches, which must be returned within 30 days.
All orders are shipped with the required returns form and a prepaid shipping label.
