LEGO is the most popular children's based toy block brand in the world, with over 560 billion pieces produced since launching in 1949. The design of the brightly colored inter-locking blocks has its roots in Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen's toy workshop, which sold wooden toys in the 30s. The business expanded in to plastic toys in 1947 and Christiansen became inspired by British company Kiddicraft's "Building Bricks," inventing his own version two years later.

About LEGO

This early design was not as versatile as it is today, taking another decade before Christiansen's son, Godtfred, settled on the material and modern shape and size. The LEGO we know and love today was patented in 1958.

Under Godtfred's vision LEGO soon surpassed the competition and became the prominent creative toy of the age, appealing to both children and adults who took their creations to the limit.

LEGO

In 1978 the first LEGO figures were introduced, and over the years many special sets with different themes were released, some of which were licensed from other properties such as movies.

Today LEGO operates 90 retail outlets throughout the US, UK and Europe, and also has the online store for purchases over the internet at Shop.Lego.com. Like many online stores they often run deals and offers which you can redeem by using special LEGO coupons. We list all the latest codes here at Coupofy, so you are sure to make savings. You can also use LEGO printable coupons if you prefer to shop in store.

The Lego Group is still a privately held company based out of Denmark.

LEGO Sells

LEGO's current catlog is available in full to purchase at the online store, from basic children's sets, to licensed sets like Star Wars or Jurassic World, to much larger and difficult sets for older children or hobbyists like the London Tower Bridge.

The main categories are sorted by Themes, Age Range, Exclusives, New Items, and Sales. There is also lots of other LEGO related merchandise like books and key chains.

As well as the bulk sets, you can also buy individual rarer items, and single pieces (if you've lost them or just want more).

Unless you have a product specific code most discount LEGO coupons can be applied to any of the above categories.

Payment Methods

The online LEGO store supports payments via American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover/Novus. To redeem a LEGO promo code simply paste it in to the box just prior to payment.

Sometimes they will also run a free shipping offer regardless of the value of your order, which you can claim by using the appropriate LEGO coupon code.
